I think it helps to lay out a few guidelines on what sort of behavior is appropriate in any form of interaction within this Society.
- Always remember that your opinion is welcomed but not necessarily the (only) one that is valid.
- Get personal with the issue not the person who raised it or responded to it.
- Use long words, short words, non-english words or whatever words you need to make your case but refrain from using or suggesting (through the use of the ***) swear words.
- The discussion of issues relating to race, color, gender and/or creed is as welcome as the discussion of most anything else. I deplore Political Correctness and I deplore racism, sexism and fundamentalism of any sort.
- It is against the spirit of the Society to publish elsewhere any comment by any member without their express permission which should be requested in writing.
- Any form of harassment will not be tolerated and will be investigated
Complaints
If you find some reason to complain about an entry in the web site (including the eZine and the Blog) please email me and bring it to my attention. I will investigate your complaint and respond. If you are unhappy with my response I will bring the complaint up in the next issue of the eZine and have the membership share their thoughts on it.
If you have a complaint about a particular member please email me immediately. Keep copies of any communications that may be pertinent to your complaint and I will investigate it in an appropriate manner.
