Life coaching for the intellectual mind
FAQ's
It's just begun and already there are some FAQ's
- Isn't Engaging Minds just an exclusive club for "so called" smart people?
Yes of course its exclusive (every group is in some way) and no it isn't a club (where in this instance I suspect the inference to be drawn is that of men only clubs or private golf clubs that restrict membership based on color;religion; background, etc.).
The success of this (or any) group is drawing together a selection of like-minded individuals. We encourage differing views within that like-mindedness and provide a forum for them to communicate and debate those views. Contributors most likely share the same core values or the group is destined to tear itself apart with internal turmoil.
Society need debate and Engaging Minds needs members to be able to contribute to that debate. I make no apologies for the 'exclusivity'.
- If my posts to the Blog aren't "intellectual enough" will you delete them and ban me?
No! Only Blog entries that break the etiquette rules will be deleted. Only contributors who frequently break the etiquette rules will be banned. If you aren't getting intellectual stimulation of the kind you need you'll likely move on anyway.
- What does it cost to join?
Only a little time and a lot of thought.
- Do you have a coach?
Yes I do.
- Why do you only coach intellectuals?
In many cases a coach will provide a service to those types of people they 'attract'. By this I mean that they are able to communicate with them in a language they both understand and can empathize with them and their situation. I feel that way with intellectuals.
- What's this bit in the Issue 1 eZine about the meaning of life?
Ah, that! Well I just want to make it clear that the discovery of the meaning of life during my lifetime voids all living-life advice given to clients should it run contrary to the meaning of life. Should it prove to be that I have enhanced your prospects towards the newly found meaning of life I shall expect your vote for President. Couldn't be any more clear than that!
